I was at
the petrol station the other day. While I was pumping petrol into my Honda
Wave, I noticed the guy opposite me. He was around late 30's and was also
pumping petrol for his motorcycle. With one hand on the pump, he was talking
away into his mobile phone with the other hand. With his loud voice I could
hear every word he was saying,
"You should not let go things like that. Wrong is still wrong, no matter however small. If you do not do anything about it, they will keep on doing it. We must always follow rules. Rules are for everybody. How can he do that? We must do something."
He sounded so genuine in voicing his opinion to the person on the other side. Although I did not fully understand what he was talking about, it could be easily deciphered that someone did some mistake and he wants action taken.
The thing that amused me was he was talking in the phone about all this following "rules" while pumping petrol with the "No Mobile Phone" sign right in front of his face. Have we become so ignorant that we only see the mistakes of others? Have we grown into finding fault in others that we have stopped to take time to mirror ourselves and our wrong doings?
A point to ponder.
