Each time I
start a new blog, I would make an entry here. I also make an entry here when I
complete an item in my Bucketlist. Everything goes here as this is my main
blog. It’s like one blog to rule them all. In a way it helps me keep track of
things. Well this entry is about a blog that I started due to a project that I
took up to accomplish one of my Bucketlists. I hope that makes sense.
To elaborate,
there is a mini project that a lot of people take up known as the 365 Photo
Project. It’s a project where the person takes one different picture every day
for 365 days continuously. This project was part of my Bucketlist. But as much
as I want to say it was a successful project, it wasn’t. I only managed to take
215 pictures throughout the 365 days. Half of the pictures were on continuous
days, and I had to skip a few days in between for the rest. Everything said and
done, the project was a failure but the learning process and experience was
amazing.
My 365 Photo Project was not successful this time, but it will be the next time I try
it. The blog can be found here:
It’s not
the best 365 Photo Project but it has a little bit of me in each picture and
that feels good. I wrote in detail about the whole process, where I went wrong,
how I can correct my mistakes, what I have learned; the whole post mortem in
the last post of the blog. Post mortem aside, I wonder out of the 215 pictures
which one would be my favourite. After due deliberation, I don’t think so I can
pick one favourite picture.
Yes, I can
come up with a top 20, but I don’t think so I will be able to pick one particular
favourite. There is a different element in each of my favourite pictures. Be it
my dad, my friends, my family, important events and many others, so no particular
favourite picture. What about pictures that I don’t like. Well, no picture that
I particularly hate but I was a bit unhappy that I had a lot of pictures
concerning work. But, it feeds me and pays the bills, so no complaints.
I have kept
this post as short as possible as the most important thing that I wanted to
register was I have another blog that concerns my first attempt at the 365
Photo Project. But when I start writing it’s a bit difficult to shut myself up.
Anyways, when I post about my second attempt at the same project, it would be a
successful one. Fingers crossed.
